Things worth trying

Track time three different ways

The Timer page has the same three panes as the real app. Start the timer from the bar at the top, drag out a block on the Calendar, or type hours straight into the Timesheet grid — all three write to the same week.

Cut a report five ways

Reports keeps Summary, Detailed, Workload, Profitability and My reports. Change "Stack by" to Projects, slice the donut by Clients, expand a member to see their projects underneath, and flip rounding off to watch every figure change.

See where the money goes

The Profitability tab is what separates Toggl from a plain tracker. Amount comes from billable rates, cost from each member's labour cost, and profit is the gap — so non-billable work always reads as a loss.

Run the workspace

Create a project with a budget and a custom rate, approve or reject a submitted timesheet, edit a member's rate inline, request time off, or set a tracking goal. Every change follows through to the other screens.
